The Boulder Landfill is located southeast of town off Highway 12 between mile markers 84 and 85 and is open on Saturdays between noon and 4:00. There is no charge during regular hours. Waste can be accepted at other times by calling Donna Wilson (335-7329) to make an appointment, and there is a charge of $5.00/pickup load or $10.00/trailer load for this service.

The landfill accepts yard waste, metal, large appliances and furniture, construction and demolition waste, and dead animals. Regular household waste is to be deposited in the dumpsters located in various places in town.
