Boulder Town Planning Commission, Regular Meeting and Public Hearings, 7:00 p.m.

The Boulder Town Planning Commission will hold its regular meeting and two public hearings on Thursday, May 12, starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Boulder Community Center Meeting Room, 351 No 100 East, Boulder, UT.

  • Public Hearing, Lot Line Adjustment Process, incorporating revised state law and clarifying amendment procedure.
  • Public Hearing, Review Standards for Subdivisions
  • Discussion and action on Lot Line Adjustment Process

  • Initiate discussion on housing in Boulder
  • Discuss requests from Town Council

Public Hearings:

Both public hearings address proposed land use changes affecting Chapter 152—Subdivisions, in Boulder’s codified ordinances: (https://codelibrary.amlegal.com/codes/boulderut/latest/boulder_ut/0-0-0-7)

  • Lot Line Adjustment Process, incorporating revised state law and clarifying procedure for amending lot lines and recorded plats. See Proposed_Lot Line Adjustment Ordinance
  • Review Standards for Subdivisions, addressing:
    • Definitions—private drives/streets
    • Allow private driveways to access lots in subdivisions with 4 or fewer homes
    • Repeal the lot width to depth standard
    • Include area of easements when calculating minimum lot size
    • Repeal unclear wording regarding street frontage of lots
    • Correct typographical error in Building Permits Issuance section   See Proposed_Modifications for Reviewing Subdivisions
