Town Council

BOULDER TOWN COUNCIL

The Boulder, Utah, Town Council is a five-member governing body responsible for leading the town. Its duties include adopting ordinances, establishing policies, managing the budget, and conducting official business with higher government authorities. The Council also oversees municipal services, handles employee hiring and dismissals, and makes crucial land-use decisions in collaboration with the Planning Commission. Elected members, including a mayor and mayor pro tempore, serve four-year terms.

OFFICE HOURS 

The Boulder Town Office is open on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and administrative staff are available by appointment.

MEETINGS 

The Boulder Town Council meets on the first Tuesday of each month at Boulder Town Community Center, located at 351 North 100 East, at 6 p.m. during mountain standard time and 7 p.m. during daylight savings time.

MEETING NOTIFICATION 

Notice of all Town Council Meetings is posted at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting, except for emergencies. Public Hearings require a minimum of 10 days’ notice before the meeting, in accordance with Utah State code.

GETTING ON THE AGENDA 

To be added to the agenda, please notify the Boulder Town Clerk. This notification must be made at least 48 hours before the meeting.
